The Superintendent will take responsibility for the overall onsite management of ground-up multifamily construction projects from inception through final acceptance.

You will develop and maintain the construction schedule, establish site logistics and coordinate subcontractors to ensure each phase of work is completed in the correct sequence. You will monitor progress against key milestones and take proactive action to keep the project on schedule.

You will maintain a thorough working knowledge of the drawings, specifications and contract documents, coordinating inspections, material deliveries and subcontractor activities throughout construction.

The position will also involve implementing site safety and quality-control procedures, maintaining accurate daily records and ensuring the jobsite remains secure, organized and professional.

Working closely with the Project Manager and supporting field team, you will resolve construction issues, communicate project priorities and create a positive working environment focused on safety, accountability and successful project delivery.

• Proven Superintendent experience delivering ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Experience managing multifamily developments of 100 units or more is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, cost control, purchasing and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts and related documents.
• Demonstrated experience leading subcontractors and onsite project personnel.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality-control requirements.
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems under demanding project deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using Procore or comparable construction-management software.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
